Capture text and use writing tools
Use voice transcription, image text capture, Auto-Edit and prompts while keeping the final entry editable.

The entry editor can help you turn spoken or pictured information into text, revise what you have written and find a starting prompt. Review the result in the editor before saving or submitting it.
Record and transcribe
Open the voice-recording tool and allow microphone access when requested. Record what you want to add, then use Send recording to transcribe it into the entry. Check names, numbers and punctuation before submitting.
A recording stops after 15 minutes. Send it at that point or start a new recording. The resulting text still needs to fit the entry's 30,000-character limit.
If recording does not start, check MindDrive's microphone permission in your device settings and try again. Entry transcription is separate from listening to Chat replies.
Capture text from an image
Use the image-text tool to choose an image or take a picture with the available camera option. Crop to the text you want to capture, then check the extracted text in the editor. Clear, readable text gives you a better result than a distant or blurred picture.
This is text capture. It does not create a photo-attachment library in your journal. Correct any recognition mistakes before saving.
Auto-Edit and undo
Auto-Edit rewrites and reformats the current text. You can undo the result with the same button until you save the draft or submit the entry. Review the changes while that undo option is still available.
Use a writing prompt
A folder can offer an AI-generated editor prompt when Insights & Analysis is enabled. Use it as a starting point and write what is useful to you. You can also ignore it and write a short note in your own words.
