How MindDrive fits together
Start with a folder and a short entry, then use Review, Home and Chat to return to what matters.
Reviewed
MindDrive brings your writing together in folders. You can return to the original entries in Review, explore mood patterns and Home Insights, or ask questions in Chat. You do not need a detailed filing system or a long entry to begin.
Start with a few folders
Open Write and create a folder for a broad part of your life. Daily Journal, Work or Home can be useful starting points. Add a more focused folder when you want to review a project, trip or experience on its own.
Give the folder a clear name. An optional description can explain its purpose. Review its Mood Tracking, Insights & Analysis and AI Chat & Search settings in the folder guide.
Write something useful to you
Open the folder and add an entry. A few sentences can be enough. You might record what happened, a decision, a question or a detail you want to remember. Choose the relevant entry date and time.
Submit the entry when it is ready. If you are still working, save a draft and return to that folder in Write later. Drafts do not appear in search, insights or Chat.
Return to your writing
- Review shows submitted entries with filters and search.
- Home brings together counts, mood summaries and Insights from eligible entries.
- Chat helps you revisit context and ask questions across eligible or explicitly selected folders.
- Scratch Pad holds temporary notes separately from submitted entries.
For example, you might write a short Work entry after a difficult meeting, revisit it in Review, then ask Chat what you have noticed about similar meetings. Keep the original entry as your reference when interpreting an AI response.
