Connect apps and bring context into MindDrive
Authorize supported sources, choose context while writing and manage connections separately from sign-in.
Reviewed
App Connect is separate from the accounts you use to sign in. It lets you authorize supported sources and choose information to use while writing. Most imports place selected details into an editable draft. Review the result before saving or submitting it.
Connect a source
- Open Settings, then App Connect.
- Choose Manage Connected Apps.
- Choose the source and follow its connection or permission steps.
- Review the account and access requested by the provider.
- Return to MindDrive and wait for the connection state to finish updating.
The visible remote sources are Google Health, Google Drive, Strava, WHOOP, Oura, Wahoo, Gmail, YouTube and Outlook. Apple Health appears on iOS and Health Connect on Android. Use the sources offered by your current app and device.
Choose information while writing
Open an entry editor and its import tools. Connected sources appear alongside the calendar, sleep and fitness tools. You can also use the add control there to manage connected apps.
Select the available files, messages, dates or activities in the source's picker. Where offered, choose whether to summarize the information. Review the inserted text before saving a draft or submitting the entry.
Strava works differently. It shows a view-only activity snapshot while you write. It is not imported into your saved journal or used for AI analysis.
Disconnect or reconnect
Return to Manage Connected Apps to turn off a source. If a connection has expired or the app asks you to authorize again, reconnect with the intended provider account and check the permissions shown.
Turning off a connection does not remove information already saved in an entry. Manage that entry separately if you want to change it.
For the source-specific selectors, read email, files and YouTube or health, sleep and activity.
