Use email, files and YouTube context
Choose Gmail threads, a Google Drive file, Outlook messages or liked YouTube videos for an editable entry.
Reviewed
Connect the source through Settings, App Connect, then Manage Connected Apps. Open its icon in an entry editor's import tools when you are ready to select information. The available selectors differ by source.
Gmail threads
Use Search Gmail to find the conversation you want, then select the relevant thread or threads. Check the subject, sender and date so you do not import a different conversation with a similar title.
The import uses selected thread information and message text. Connecting Gmail does not automatically add your inbox to your journal.
Google Drive files
Choose Google Drive and continue to Google's file picker. You can import one file at a time. Select a supported file, return to MindDrive and review the selected-file screen before importing.
The current supported sources include Google Docs, Slides, Sheets and text files. If a file is unavailable or unsupported, choose an appropriate supported file rather than expecting every Drive format to work.
Outlook messages
Use Search Outlook, then select the messages you want. Outlook's current editor import is for email messages. Use the separate calendar tool for events available in your device calendars.
YouTube context
The picker shows liked YouTube videos. Like the intended video on YouTube first if it is not in the list. The imported context includes available video information such as its title and description. This is not a watched-history or full video-transcript import.
Review the result
Where offered, Summarize Data chooses an AI summary instead of the original imported details. The result remains editable. Check names, numbers and meaning before saving or submitting.
If no results appear, check the connected account, search wording and permissions. Reconnect if MindDrive asks you to authorize again. Read App Connect for the connection steps.
