MindDrive protects supported private app data with encryption in storage and HTTPS in transit. Requested features may temporarily decrypt and process selected content on MindDrive servers and with service providers. Read the Privacy Policy and Security page for the full explanation.

Find Manage Your Data
Open Settings, Terms & Privacy, then Manage Your Data. This screen contains Weather and Analytics preferences, exports and separate AI-data deletion actions.
Weather
Weather adds context to future entries using approximate location. Turning Weather off stops adding weather to new entries. It does not disable every use of approximate location described in the Privacy Policy.
Use the help control beside Weather to review its explanation. Existing entries can still contain weather information added earlier, so turning the setting off and editing an existing entry are different actions.
Analytics
Manage Your Data also includes the Analytics preference. Its help explanation and the Privacy Policy describe what that setting controls. It is separate from website cookie choices and required security or service operations.
Read the confirmation when changing the setting and allow the update to finish. If it reports a failure, retry and check the displayed state rather than assuming the preference was saved.
Folder and memory choices
Folder settings control participation in specific features. AI Chat & Search controls General Memory and Smart Search, while explicitly selected Deep Analysis can still use a folder. Insights & Analysis controls Home Insights, folder analysis and generated writing prompts.
AI Memory lets you review, exclude and restore remembered details. Removing a remembered detail is separate from deleting its source entry or chat.
For copies of your writing or broader AI-data controls, use export and manage data. Account deletion has its own confirmation and consequences, explained in before you delete your account.
