A little help along the way.

Home, Insights and Scratch Pad

Read Home summaries, understand counts and keep temporary notes separate from submitted entries.

Reviewed

Home brings together a quick view of your activity, mood information and Insights. Scratch Pad gives you a separate place for a temporary thought. Each part has a different purpose, so a Scratch Pad note or draft is not the same as a submitted entry.

Read the current range

Check the selected date range before comparing summaries. Quick Stats and Home Insights have their own controls, and changing one view does not mean every Home card is now showing the same period.

Entry, streak and draft counts describe different activity. A draft count can remind you that writing is unfinished. It does not mean those drafts have been included in mood statistics, Insights or Chat.

Understand Home Insights

Eligible folders contribute when Insights & Analysis is on. Archived folders are excluded from normal Home Insights. A new entry may need to finish processing before updated context is available.

If an Insight is loading, let it finish. If an error or retry action appears, follow it and check your connection. An empty result can also reflect the selected range or folder participation. Check the original entries before relying on an AI interpretation.

Use Scratch Pad

Open Scratch Pad on Home and type a note. It autosaves its text as you work. If the app reports a save problem, keep the text available and follow the retry action shown.

Scratch Pad text is not automatically submitted as a journal entry. Move anything you want in your journal into an entry and submit it. Clear Scratch Pad permanently deletes all of its text after confirmation.

Personalize the name

Use the name control on Home to change the name shown in your notebook, then finish its save flow. This is a display preference, not your sign-in email or a separate username.

Use entries and drafts when you want a note to become part of your journal.
