Bring in sleep, health and activity context
Choose permitted device or connected-service information and understand Strava activity snapshots.
Reviewed
Available health, sleep and fitness information depends on your device, connected service and permissions. If you choose an AI summary, the selected information is processed by MindDrive and an AI provider to create the draft. Turning off a connection does not remove information you already saved in an entry.
Device sleep and fitness
Use the editor's Sleep or Fitness import tool. Apple Health supplies the supported device-health information on iOS, while Health Connect supplies it on Android. Check the entry date before importing, then review the available measurements and permission request.
If a measurement is missing, check whether the source app or device recorded it and whether MindDrive has permission to read it. Manage Apple Health permissions in Apple Health or iOS settings, and Health Connect permissions through Android settings or Health Connect.
Google Health, Oura and WHOOP
Connect the source in Settings, App Connect, then Manage Connected Apps. Open its editor import icon to review the available dates and details.
Google Health and Oura offer available daily information for the selected entry date and the preceding six days. WHOOP offers daily information and workout selections. Choose the rows you want rather than assuming everything visible will be included. Availability depends on what the source returned for those dates.
Wahoo workouts
Open Wahoo from the editor import tools and choose the workouts you want. Review the available workout measurements before importing. A workout can have different measurements from another workout, depending on the recording device and source data.
Original details or a summary
When Summarize Data is offered, turn it off for the available original details or on for an AI-written summary. Read the inserted text and correct it before saving or submitting. Importing does not submit the entry automatically.
Strava activity snapshots
Strava works differently. It shows a view-only activity snapshot while you write. It is not imported into your saved journal or used for AI analysis.
Choose an activity to view its snapshot and close it when finished. The other import tools' draft-insertion steps do not apply to Strava.
