Sign-in methods and linked accounts
Review linked Google, Apple and Facebook accounts, and understand email changes and account linking.

MindDrive supports email and password, Google, Apple and Facebook sign-in. Use the method linked to the account containing your entries. An email shown by a provider can differ from the address you normally use, especially with Apple's Hide My Email.
Review or add a sign-in method
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Choose Authentication Options.
- Review the linked methods and email addresses shown there.
- Choose the provider you want to link and complete its verification using the intended provider account.
Linking gives you another way into the same MindDrive account. It does not merge two existing accounts. If a provider account is already linked to a different MindDrive account, it cannot be attached to this one through linking.
Remove a method carefully
Use the linked provider's control in Authentication Options and read the confirmation. MindDrive prevents removal of your only sign-in method. Check that you can use the method you intend to keep before removing another.
Change an email address
For accounts with email-and-password sign-in, Authentication Options includes Change Email. Enter and confirm the new address, complete account verification, then open the verification link sent to the new inbox. After the change completes, sign in with the new email address.
If Change Email is not shown, review your linked provider method rather than looking for a username setting. The sign-in recovery guide explains how to find an account.
Sign-in linking and App Connect
Sign-in methods control access to your account. App Connect authorizes sources such as Gmail or Google Drive for use while writing. Connecting one of those sources does not add a sign-in method.
