Notifications and reminders

Open the bell on Home to manage custom reminders. The reminder screen and Settings, Preferences, Push Notifications control different things, so check both when a reminder is not arriving.

Create a reminder

1. Open the bell on Home.
2. Enable the reminder screen's Notifications switch if needed.
3. Add a reminder and give it a useful name.
4. Choose its time and the available once or daily schedule.
5. Review the notification-name choice, then save.

If your device asks for notification permission, allow it to receive reminders. If permission was denied earlier, open your device settings for MindDrive and review it there.

Choose what the notification shows

Reminder names appear in notifications unless you enable Hide name in notification. Use that setting when you prefer a generic notification instead of displaying the reminder's name. Review your device's lock-screen preview settings too.

Pause, edit or delete

Use the saved reminder's controls to turn it off, edit it or delete it. Read the deletion confirmation before removing it.

Turning off Notifications on the reminder screen pauses these custom reminders. It does not turn off every MindDrive push notification. To turn all push notifications off, go to Settings, Preferences, then Push Notifications.

If a reminder does not arrive

Check that the reminder is saved and enabled, its schedule is correct, custom reminders are on and the overall push preference is on. Check the device's notification permission, Focus or Do Not Disturb settings and network connection.

If a save needs confirmation, use the recovery action shown before creating the same reminder again. Notification delivery can depend on device and network conditions. Contact support if the settings look correct and the problem continues.
