I can't remember how to sign in
Find your original sign-in method, reset an app password and get help without creating another account.
Reviewed
Start with the method you used to create your account. MindDrive has no separate username. Your display name and User ID are not your sign-in name.
Check a device that is still signed in
If you are still signed in on another device, open Settings, then Account to check the email shown there. Authentication Options shows the sign-in methods linked to the account. Keep that device signed in while you check.
If you used email and a password
For email and password, enter your email on the app's Sign In screen and choose Forgot Password. Check your inbox and junk folder. The confirmation message does not tell you whether an account exists for that address. The current website Sign In form does not include this reset control.
Check the spelling of the email before trying again. If the reset message has not arrived, check other inboxes you may have used for MindDrive. Resetting a MindDrive password does not change your Google, Apple or Facebook password.
If you used a provider button
If you used Google, Apple or Facebook, use the same provider and account again. Apple may show a private relay email when you chose Hide My Email. A different provider account can lead to a different MindDrive account, so avoid creating another account while trying to find your original entries.
Apple explains private relay addresses in its Hide My Email guidance. If sign-in reaches a six-digit code prompt, continue with authenticator and recovery help.
If you still cannot get in
If you cannot identify or access your sign-in method, contact support from the website. Explain which methods you have tried. Never send a password, authenticator setup key or recovery code in a support message. Support will help you identify the available next steps, but access cannot be guaranteed when account verification is unavailable.
Use the support form. Include your device type and the step where sign-in stops. A screenshot can help when it does not expose a password or recovery information.
